Eating Disorders Recovery Support
A site for all who wish to recover from eating disorders

A site for all who suffer with eating disorders
Eating Disorders Recovery Support was established in order to promote the recognition and treatment of eating disorders in all populations.

Our goals:

1. Reduce the shame and stigma currently attached to eating disorders and mental illness.

2. Improve access to care for those suffering from eating disorders in the form of support groups, advocacy, and screening for eating disorders.

3. Lobby our representatives for improved coverage for psychiatric illness and ultimately mental health parity.

NPR recognizes the problem of Eating Disorders in African Americans!

However, stigma and access to care still remains a problem for all sufferers.  We must continue the fight!
